New Channel 4 Paralympic Show

Channel 4 has commissioned Boomerang to produce a Paralympic magazine show for T4 which will be presented by Rick Edwards and Ade Adepitan. The series will begin broadcasting at 1pm on Saturdays at the end of this summer and will chart the successes and build the reputations of Great Britain’s Paralympic athletes. It will uncover the characters behind the sport, whilst raising the profile and public interest in the competition.

One of the ideas for the show involves the Gold medal hopeful for 2012, Daniel Luker. The Junior World Champ Dan is renowned for his image conscious personality and he is looking for one or two charismatic sporting 14 – 20 year olds who want to take their current day chair and turn it into something special. This could include; adding new wheels, painting the framework the individual’s favourite colour, adding a deck for their ipod, installing underchair lights etc…

I’m emailing you with the hope that you could possibly circulate this email to potential teenagers / sports groups / individuals who may be interested in appearing on our T4 show to transform and regenerate their well used wheelchair. All modifications, travel for filming etc would be made at our expense.

Anyone who is interested in taking part can write to/email us and tell us why they think it should be their chair that gets a makeover at the address below:
